"My husband Scott, and I, were downtown celebrating our 3 year anniversary. The meal and atmosphere at another local restaurant in the area was not the greatest, and set the mood for a loss cause at trying to enjoy an evening out. As we left, it began to rain, and then pour. We ran to a bar to seek refuge but they were closed and as we left, I stepped right into a mud puddle, a car splashed by me, and I hit my head on a large metal stop sign. We looked at each other and realized we might as well go home -it was not going to be a romantic night- then we found Fish. It was quiet inside, after dinner hours, and while there were no customers at the bar (and the employees would probably have preferred to close up for the night) we were warmly welcomed to have a seat and enjoy what was left of the evening. We must have stayed there for 3 hours or more and celebrated our anniversary with the employees of Fish.
We ended up having a wonderful anniversary after all, and probably the best anniversary to date! It is such a fun and memorable story to share with others; we have told all of our friends about fish and they too have visited Fish, and had a great time as well. We rang in the new year in 2007 at Fish and could not have found a more pefect place to celebrate with our friends, and those at Fish who made our first experience there, one to remember! The food is fabulous and regardless of what I try, I am always impressed, but more over is the hospitality that we felt which we will always remember!" -Ashley
