We like to think of the new Fish as an affirmation of who we are. We’ve always believed details tell stories. Like, the tabletops on the patio? We partnered with Fisher Recycling to turn wine bottles used at our events into tables that are beautiful, functional and have a great story. Our dining room tabletops are made of reclaimed cherry. We’re also using eco-friendly to-go containers in our ongoing efforts to tread a bit more lightly on the earth. The light fixtures above are replicas of Chinese fishing baskets, a nod to both our Asian influences and the Singapore restaurant Fishes, the original inspiration for Fish.
In eight years, we’ve discovered that there comes a time when you stop pretending to be what everyone else thinks you should be. There comes a time when you are comfortable in your own fins (skin). After eight years, we understand that no matter how hectic the world gets, there is always time sit down with good people and enjoy a fine meal.
